I mentioned the other week that we went out to Hanbury Manor for my birthday. It was so relaxing and the location was brilliant.

I’d seen pictures so I have to admit I expected the hotel to be gorgeous (which it was) but what I wasn’t expecting was such a phenomenal overall experience. In fact I’d call the service there truly amazing. Both the hotel and the staff really did go way above and beyond our expectations.

So it got me to thinking… when did you last experience amazing service? And I don’t just mean ‘good’ service. I mean truly amazing service.

Service so amazing that you want to tell others. Service so fantastic that when you enthuse about it, it makes others want to go buy from that business, just to get a taste of it themselves.

Giving amazing service really can transform your business. It turns your clients into raving fans. And raving fans turn their friends into your clients too.

So the question is, are YOU giving “amazing service”?

If yes, fantastic! If no, you should start (by the way, if you’re not sure, then the answer is probably no).

A great way to find out how your service rates, is to have someone mystery shop you.

The easy way is to give a gift voucher to a friend. Then ask them to give it to a friend of theirs, that they trust but you don’t know. Then that friend-of-a-friend can use the voucher to have a totally free service or treatment so long as they write to you after and let you know the ups and the downs.

You may find that they loved things you’ve never even realised you did. Which is great because you can then put more of an emphasis on them. Or you may discover you are missing things you didn’t even know you needed. Which is even better because the second you implement changes, you’ll see more clients returning and more clients referring friends.

PS… The building is obviously exceptional but what really got me was the massive attention to detail. Everything was spotless (literally) and whenever you wanted something, it was just right there. Coming back to the ‘real world’ on the Monday really reinforced what a wonderful experience it was to treasure!

PPS… Hopefully you’ve had an email about how to market your business online at really low cost (and with no technical expertise) but if you haven’t, the link is
http://www.wellbeingbusinesssecrets.com/internetcourse.html. If you’re serious about attracting clients the easy way then take a look today.

I received an article from a life coach the other day all about how we set our own limits in our minds of what we can achieve.

She talked about how whether it’s in our work lives or our personal lives, we all have pre-conceptions of what’s possible and what isn’t. And very often those limits we set ourselves aren’t the reality. They are just what we perceive to be the case.

And it’s so true. If we think that we personally can’t do something, we can’t… if we think our client’s can’t afford something, then they can’t. If we think they aren’t interested in rebooking, then they aren’t.

But on the other hand if we believe that anything is possible, it usually is. If we believe a client to be really interested in a product, they generally buy it. If we believe that getting more new clients is easy, then suddenly it is.

This was really hammered home to me last Sunday. I’d signed up ages ago to do a 10k run to raise money for the Multiple Sclerosis Trust (a big thank you to all of you who saw the post on my blog and sponsored me!) and Sunday was the big day.

I’d been worrying about it for weeks cause I’m not really a runner (I’ve never run 2km in my life, let alone 10!). But on the day, I turned up determined to get through it because the MS Trust means a lot to me. And you know what… I did. And not only that, I ran a major chunk of it and power-walked the rest to finish way faster than I thought I would. Plus, even though I’d built it up in my head to be this majorly difficult event, I have to admit it wasn’t nearly as hard as I thought it would be.

And that’s the same with business too. It’s all too easy when a goal means a lot to build it up in your head as being tough or difficult to achieve. But if you take the plunge and just try it, you may well find getting there is easier than you thought.

PS… That said, I have to admit my muscles were rather sore on Monday!! If you wanna have a sneak peak at a rather embarrassing photo of me and my sister just after we finished, have a nosey below…!

PPS… My Profit Soaring Secrets Home Study Course has been flying out the door like hotcakes since I announced the massive discount just for readers of my newsletter earlier in the week. If you’ve not got yours yet, there are only 50 at the discounted price available and once they are gone, that’s it. You can find out more about what it can do for your business and claim yours at www.wellbeingbusinesssecrets.com/discountedcourse.

If you’d like to donate to the MS Trust, you can do so at www.justgiving.com/rebeccakepple. All money goes straight to the Trust. They are a really deserving organisation who do amazing things to help people with MS live full and happy lives so every little bit helps!

Animals really are wonderful things. They can put a smile on your face with the silliest of actions, comfort you when you are down and make you giggle with laughter when you least expect it.

My little kitten Milly is now almost a cat. She’s nearly a year old but she’s still really small. And the other day I was catching up on admin and feeling a bit bored with it when I heard a funny noise… she had crawled right up to the top of the curtain, made a hole in it, stuck her head through the hole and gotten stuck.

She looked hilarious stuck up there by the ceiling mewing at me to get down. I knew I ought to tell her off for ruining the curtains but I just couldn’t because I was laughing so hard (I rather wish I had though – now it’s a game and about once a day she climbs up there just to get my attention).

Anyway it got me thinking about the power of animals… they are fantastic medicine to put a smile on your face and fill your heart with warmth. If you’ve got a little critter of your own, take some time out to appreciate it today and you may find yourself looking at the world a little differently!

PS… Here’s a picture of little Milly helping me write my newsletter!
